Sony Sugar earned a vengeful 2-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks in an early Kenyan Premier League encounter in Awendo.
The hosts netted early in the first half and late in the second as they avenged a similar scoreline defeat they suffered at the hands of the Sportpesa Shield finalists in the first leg.
Salmon Omollo netted the opener for Sony as he slotted past Africa Cup of Nations call-up goalkeeper Brian Bwire with just two minutes played.
Enock Agwanda made sure of the full points with the second 6 minutes to the end as he hammered home after Bwire had spilled the ball.
Victory here extends the Millers’ unbeaten run to six matches as they moved up one spot into sixth on the log.
Sharks, who went into this match at the back of ending an 11-game winless run in the league and also after securing a third straight final appearance in the Sheild, barely showed signs of getting a result in a venue they are yet to nab three points.
Sony were always in command the moment Omollo stroke home the opener and remained in control until Agwanda notched his 9th goal of the campaign.
Sharks, who entertain KCB FC in their next league assignment, remain 10th on the log.
