Ayimba to Name Shujaa & Morans Squads

Kenya Sevens Head Coach Benjamin Ayimba will tomorrow (Sept 30) name the Shujaa and Morans squads that will battle in Kenya’s name during the 20th edition of the Safari Sevens set to kick off this weekend at Kasarani Stadium.

The team/s has been in non-residential training as they prepare for the tournament which will serve as a build up for the Olympic qualifiers set for South Africa in November.

Ayimba will be under a lot of pressure to name two squads who can put in a fine show and perhaps save his job after his appointment as head coach was revoked.  As a result, he will only be in charge of the team during the Safari Sevens after which the head coach position will be vacant as and the process to name a new head coach restarted.
