AFC Leopards are facing an injury crisis ahead of their Kenyan Premier League encounter against Ulinzi Stars Wednesday (5) at the Machakos Stadium.
Ingwe, second on the log with a game in hand over leaders Bandari, host the Soldiers in a blockbuster midweek encounter with the duo yet to taste any defeat this season.
Leopards have received a boost after two-goal striker Gilbert Fiamenyo was passed fit. However, centerhalf Robinson Kamura will be unavailable due to injury while forward Paul Kiongera and Marcellus Ingotsi both have knocks and both face late fitness tests for the match.
Ulinzi on the other hand will also assess defender Mohammed Rio Hassan and midfielder Boniface Onyango. Hassan limped off injured in the 1-0 victory over Kariobangi Sharks, a match that Onyango was not involved in due to injury.
Leopards have not collected a league victory over Ulinzi since August 2013 when the Soldiers ended a 6-game losing run against the Stewart Hall-led side.
Ulinzi have won four of their last five league matches against Ingwe including a 2-0 victory in the corresponding fixture last season. Another victory for Ulinzi will put them joint second while success for Ingwe will put them top of the log.
