AFC Leopards’ mid-season recruitment drive continues with the club confirming the signing of two players, Malian international Ismaila Diarra and Rwandese Emmanuel Imanishimwe.
Diarra, 24, joins from Rayon Sports where he worked with Leopards boss Ivan Minnaert and has penned a one-and-a-half-year contract with the club. The two also worked together at Djoliba AC.
Imanishimwe, 21, a winger-turned-leftback has signed for two years with the full-back also joining from Rayon Sports. The youngster earned his first national team call-up last month.
Diarra left Rayon Sports barely five months after joining them from Morocco’s Shabab Atlas Khenifra Club in February this year.
The talented forward previously played for reigning CECAFA Kagame Cup reigning champions Azam FC of Tanzania.
Before Azam, he was earlier playing for Malian giants of Olympique Club de Bamako, his parent club.
