Goalkeeper Lucas Indeche has been offered an improved one-year deal that will see him stay at the club until the end of the 2017 season. The former Sony Sugar and Thika United shot stopper signed for Ingwe in June 2015 and played a vital role in ensuring that the 12-time Kenyan champions finished in the Top 8 of the 2015 Kenyan Premier League.
In a one on one with FourFourTwoMedia.com, Indeche says he is elated with the development and will keep on working hard to ensure that the team performs well this season.
‘At least we are seeing light at the tunnel after the turn of events this week.
“I am going to sign a new contract with Ingwe and I will ensure that I do my best to help the team achieve its ambitions for 2016.”
Indeche was Ingwe’s most outstanding performer during the second half of the season in which he pulled out several man-of-the-match performances when Ingwe were under siege.
