AFC Leopards captain Lucas Indeche is among eight new call-ups to the Harambee Stars squad that reports to camp on March 7 ahead of a back-to-back clash with Guinea Bissau in the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Indeche has been in fine form for Leopards who he joined from Sony Sugar last year June and his heroics have seen him earn a spot in Stanley Okumbi’s 36-man squad which will be preparing for the Bissau trip on March 23 and the return leg clash in Nairobi four days later.
Indeche’s teammate Samuel Abuko has also been called up as well as Chemelil Sugar’s 17-year prodigy Joseph Okumu.
Bandari trio of Antony Muki Kimani, David King’atua and Shaban Kenga have also been included in the squad which also includes Kariobangi Sharks duo Patillah Omotto and Ovella Ochieng’.
