Kenya's Harambee Stars 'B' team fell to an embarrassing 2-0 defeat at the hands of a Morocco U21 outfit in friendly match played Monday (4) evening.
The team, comprised of players who are being groomed to participate in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN), were put to the sword as two second half goals from Belaamri Youssef and Hamza Hanouri proved enough to give the juniors victory.
The team didn't lack experience as it was led out by Gor Mahia custodian and regular international Boniface Oluoch alongside the likes of Harun Shakava, Simon Mbugua and Patillah Omotto, all who have previously played part in the senior set up.
The defeat came at the back of a 1-1 draw against Mauritania on August 31, Masoud Juma scoring for Kenya. The team was led by Assistant coaches Frank Ouna and Musa Otieno.
Meanwhile the 'A' team jetted back into the country Monday evening following their 1-1 draw against Mozambique in Maputo, September 2. Eric Johanna netted the equalizing goal for Kenya with a long range effort, five minutes before the final whistle.
