Kenya women volleyball champions Kenya Pipeline and Kenya Prisons women’s volleyball teams renew rivalry as the second leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation league takes centre stage at Ndakaini, Murang’a County on Friday. The two participated in the just concluded African Club championship in Tunisia where Prisons’ bagged bronze medal, while Pipeline settled for fifth position.
This will be the first match the two teams will be playing locally after they both shelved their first leg ties to prepare for the Africa Club Championships held in Egypt.
Pipeline boast a better record than their rivals who have lost a couple of big names to their foes since 2014.
The defending champions will then lock play with Mt Kenya University in their second match of the day. In another match, Nairobi Water begins their title quest with against Mount Kenya University (MKU) before facing KCB.
