Ingwe Leftback Mburu Undergoes a Knee Surgery

AFC Leopards left back Moses Mburu has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing a knee surgery on Monday at the Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.

Through his official Facebook page, Mburu confirmed that he had undergone a successful meniscus tear surgery which rules him out of action for at least three months.

He hurt his knee in their 4-2 win over Nakumatt FC in Machakos. His dazzling skills and accurate passing have won the hearts of many Ingwe fans and he is best remembered for his backflip that left Wazito FC’s Kennedy Ayacko clutching straws in Machakos.

The 24-year old was signed at Ingwe at the start of the season from Mathare United where he barely got playtime.
