Over the years, AFC Leopards have been known to hire and fire coaches at the end of every season. This has happened again as the club have appointed Serbian Nikola Kavazovic as the new club head coach.
Nikola Kavazovic,43, is the immediate former Botswana Premier Leaguer side, Township Rollers coach and has come with demands of his own by demanding that the club purchases modern training equipments that will enable him execute his training program well.
With most Kenya Premier League sides using improvised training facilities, Kavazovic seems to think otherwise, he says, better facilities will bring the best out of the players.
‘He has asked us to purchase training aids which he will use during the pre-season.’
‘Such equipment cost up-to 500,000 shillings and we don’t know if we will have them by the time he jets in,’ a source told fourfourtwomedia on Monday.
The former Sri Lanka national team coach is expected to come with an assistant who will act as the fitness trainer. The latest appointments however will spell the end of some of the current members of the technical bench who helped guide Ingwe to finishing seventh in the KPL log and third in the FKF Shield tournament.

Fourfourtwo media has learnt that former Ingwe midfielder Simon ‘Seppe’ Mulama is set to be appointed as the new Team Manager with Thomas Juma being retained as the second assistant coach at the club. The 13-time Kenyan champions are also courting Rangers FC goalkeeper trainer Lawrence Webo over a possible deal that could see him succeed Matthews Ottamax.
