Kenya Sevens have been drawn in Pool B for next weekend’s Cape Town Sevens where they will come against, among others, defending series champions Fiji.
Innocent Simiyu’s men collected five points in the season-opening Dubai Sevens this weekend, losing to USA in the Trophy Challenge semis.
They will battle Fiji in Cape Town as well as France and Japan who they coincidentally met with in Dubai, the French winning 24-14 while the Asians were dispatched 17-7 in the Group Stages.
Dubai Sevens champions South Africa headline Pool A where they will clash with Australia, USA and Russia. Uganda, who won their first ever match in the Series with victory over Japan, are in Pool D alongside Wales, Scotland and Samoa.
The Cape Town Sevens will be held on the weekend of 10-11 December, 2016.
