Kenya U20 Friendly with Egypt Shifted to Cairo

The Kenya U20 friendly match against Egypt which was scheduled for Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi, has now been moved to the capital of the North African nation, although the date of the match remains on Febuary 201, 2016.

The team will leave for Cairo four days after they land from Senegal who they played twice within three days. Kenya were beaten 2-0 in the first of two friendlies against Senegal last Friday, before being emphatically thumped 4-0 in the second fixture on Sunday with both matches play in the West African nation.

“The objective of the friendlies is to prepare the team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan,” said a statement from Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
