NSL:Kibera’s Fine Run Halted as AP Bag First Win

Kibera Black Stars suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of KCB while Administration Police earned their first win of the season in the National Super League matches played on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.

In the first match pitting KCB versus Kibera Black Stars, Chrispinus Onyango scored in the 21st minute to hand the Bankers their second win in a row. They had edged out Kangemi All-Stars 2-1 in midweek last week.

At the Karuturi Grounds in Naivasha, Kenya Police beat the fast fading  Kangemi All-Stars 3-0 to extended a five-match unbeaten run.

A brace by National U20 team, forward Abraham Dawo, coupled with a late strike by Jesse Mata, saw Police rise to third on the log with six points, similar to second-placed Bidco United.

In the third match of the day Administration Police secured their first win of the season as they beat visiting GFE 105 2-1 at the Camp Toyoyo. The result sees AP climb out of the relegation places into 17th with four points, same as GFE and Nairobi City Stars.
