Newly crowned Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia left for Kisumu, Friday morning, ahead of their KPL Top 8 showdown with Muhoroni Youth set for Saturday.
Kogalo who are chasing a possible four titles this calendar year will battle Muhoroni Youth at Moi Stadium Kisumu in a highly billed match given the duo’s run both in the league and domestic cup competitions.
Gor Mahia have not lost to a KPL team the entire season while Muhoroni Youth are yet to lose since Paul Nkata took over the managerial duties in June. The match will kick off at 415pm and you can get live updates by following us on Twitter: @Four4TwoMedia.
Meanwhile, a day prior to their away trip, the league champions received playing kit and other sports equipment courtesy of Barjolia Sports Company Ltd.
Kogalo Boss Frank Nuttall and captain Jerry Onyango were in hand to receive the donation at the team’s new training ground, Camp Toyoyo, from the company’s Managing Director Maurice Babu.
“We as a company, just thought it’s wise to reciprocate the good work Gor Mahia are doing by donating the kits,” Babu to the club’s official website.
Jerim who is expected to be in goal in Kisumu said, “We truly appreciate the efforts by Barjolia Company Ltd and we hope many will still come to be part of the club in different ways.” Photo: Gormahiafc.co.ke
