The second semifinal of the 2015 GOtv Shield competition pitting Kenyan Premier League champions, Gor Mahia, and Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Nakumatt FC will be played next week Wednesday (Dec. 9).
The match has been hanging in the balance due to the involvement of Gor Mahia players on international assignments. The venue for the clash is yet to be decided.
Nakumatt booked their semifinal berth by edging Sony Sugar on penalties while Gor Mahia were 3-1 winners over National Super League outfit Administration Police.
Bandari FC awaits in the final which will be played on Sunday December 13 at a yet-to-be-decided venue. Gor Mahia are looking to win their fourth trophy having already put the season-opening Super Cup in their cabinet before adding the league and KPL Top 8 honours.
Meanwhile Gor Mahia will play a friendly match against FKF Premier League side, Zoo Kericho at the City Stadium as part of their build up for the Nakumatt battle.
