AFC Leopards will hold its much-needed elections on December 13, 2015.
The club has appointed an Election Management Group that will help in preparing for the polls whose outcome will have a telling effect on the club.
A statement from the club read;
“The following members who were nominated by Branch Chairmen have been appointed to serve as members of the Election Management Group (EMG). They have been tasked with the responsibility to prepare for the club’s Elections scheduled for 13/12/2015. They will be joined by a representative from Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and Kenyan Premier League (KPL).”
The committee members are:
Geofrey Luyuku: Facebook Branch
Krugen Chalinga: Buru Buru Branch
Fredrick Luta: Nabongo Branch
Swaleh Ordinah Bukachi: Executive Branch
The current office’s three-year term is set to expire next month and members have been asked to vote in new leaders so as to avoid a vacuum that has sunk the club into deep waters.
Current chairman Dan Mule took over reigns after the resignation of Walter Onyino who had succeeded Allan Kasavuli who stepped down in March. Ingwe finished the 2015 Kenyan Premier League season in a disappointing 7th position.
