Former Kenya Women’s Volleyball head coach David Lung’aho has passionately appealed to AFC Leopards to hire him.
Lung’aho who has no well-documented football background but an illustrious career both as a volleyball player and coach took to his social media to request for an appointment.
“I want a post at our beloved AFC Leopards,” the Kenya Prisons head coach and Kenya Volleyball Federation Technical Director said in a short but precise post on his Facebook Page.
“Kindly advise me coz (because) I want to share my experience with INGWE,” he added.
Lung’aho is most successful coach in the history of volleyball in Kenya. In guiding Malkia Strikers to the FIVB World Grand Prix group three Gold in Australia last June, he became the first Kenyan coach to have won an international trophy.
That record, among others, including five (four in a row) Africa Club championship titles with Kenya Prisons put him above the rest as Kenya’s most successful volleyball coach, both at club and national level.
It is not clear which role he is yearning for at Ingwe who hired a new head coach, Ivan Minnaert last month with the Belgian having so far won his two matches in charge including the Mashemeji Derby against Gor Mahia.
