Ugandan forward Farouk Miya is close to sealing a move to Belgian giants Standard Liege.
The Vipers Sports Club hitman is currently with the Cranes in Rwanda for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) but the clubs already agreed a fee of about US$400,000.
Miya, 19, Miya opened his CHAN account after scoring a penalty while also claiming an assist in Cranes’ 2-2 draw with Mali in their opening match.
He sustained a shoulder injury in that match and it was feared he wont play their second match against Zambia on Saturday but he has overcome the problem.
Miya, winner of the 2015 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup, scored 11 goals and added seven assists as Vipers won the Uganda Premier League title last season.
He was equally potent for the national side, scoring 13 goals in 2015 with his form winning him the 2015 Footballer of the Year at FUFA Awards.
