Nicodemus Etemesi scored a brace with Benjamin Kahindi adding the other as Administration Police made a perfect debut in the National Super League, thrashing seasoned participants thrashed Bidco FC 3-1at the Camp Toyoyo Grounds, Saturday.
Having sent the early warning signs, the law enforcers kept Yusuf Chipo’s Bidco busy, forcing corner after corner.
The early injection of pace paid off in the 20th minute when Etemesi fired home a free kick to make it 1-0. Kahindi doubled the advantage five minutes later to stretch the lead.
Bidco got some ray of hope early on in the second half through former AFC Leopards forward Mohamed Hassan but Etemesi put the game beyond doubt with AP’s third in the 75th minute.
AP Assistant coach David Ongiri could not hide his joy and says his side will use any available opportunities to get to the top flight next season.
