Kenyan international Michael Olunga was on target once again as his side IF Djurgardens settled for a 2-2 draw against fellow Swedish topflight side IF Elsfborg in a pre-season friendly clash at Boras Arena on Friday (March. 11).
The former Gor Mahia man had the first say in the match, scoring in the 15th minute in what was his third goal for the club he joined last month. However, Elsfborg got the equalizer almost immediately through Simon Hedlund.
Djurgardens got back their lead just before the interval through Jesper Kalstroem but another equalizer in the 75th minute by Viktor Prodell ensured the two sides shared spoils as they continue preparing for the league kick off set for Saturday April 2.
Olunga was rested later on in the match. Djurgarden open their hunt for the Allsvenskan away to Orebro on Sunday, April 3.
