Saad, Tsuma Ditch Thika for Leopards

Barely 24 hours after completing the signing of Nigerian Alex Orotomal from Rwanda Premier League side Sunrise FC, AFC Leopards have confirmed the signing of Thika United duo of Tsuma Said and Saad Musa.
The two have penned down three and four-year contracts respectively and join former teammate Eugene Mukangula who joined the ranks earlier this month.
The 12-time Kenyan champions under the tutelage of Argentine Rodoflo Zapata are strengthening the squad with the aim of closing the yapping gap between them and runaway leaders Gor Mahia.
Tuesday’s 0-0 draw against Zoo Kericho exposed Ingwe’s deficiency especially in transition and Club chairman Daniel Mule promised to bolster the squad that currently looks thin and inexperienced.
Earlier on, Ingwe had managed to capture the services of Mathare United midfielder Edward Seda and released Joseph Kuria and want-away former Kenya international Collins Okoth. The club also released goalkeeper Gabriel Andika who’s horror show against Tusker in Kericho proved to be his last match for the club. The former Western Stima man has since joined Kakamega Homeboyz.
Mule has since said that the club will continue making more signings as the window draws to a close.
