Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka will on Thursday morning battle National Super League (NSL) outfit Ushuru FC in a preseason friendly at the Ruaraka Grounds.
Both sides have upped their preparations ahead of the new season with the KPL starting late this month while the NSL will start in early September.
Sofapaka appointed Portuguese Divaldo Alves as their new boss while Ushuru are also under a new regime, James Omondi having been handed the top job with long-serving Ken Kenyatta shown the door.
The 8am kickoff will see both bosses guage the progress the players have made.
It will be Sofapaka’s second preseason build up, having played Naivas FC last week.
The Batoto ba Mungu have lost a number of key players including Stephen Waruru, Umaru Kasumba, Pistone Mutamba and Omar Moussa.
