Sofapaka Sign 13 Ahead of SPL Second Leg

Former Kenyan champions Sofapaka on Wednesday beefed up their squad by unveiling 13 new signings ahead of the SportPesa Premier League (SPL) second leg. 

Defenders Willis Ouma and Abdulatif Omar are back to the team as well as midfielder Hillary Echesa. Ouma and Echesa return from Chemelil Sugar, while Omar who left for Bandari two years ago, return after six months at Kakamega Homeboyz.

Wesley Onguso is also a confirmed signing for the club, joining in from Western Stima.

Three Ugandans have also been shipped in; Feni Ali, from URA, Rogers Aloro from Simba of Uganda and Umar Kasumba, the former SC Villa striker. Meanwhile the club released a couple of players among the Charles Okwemba who joined National Super League side Vihiga United.
