Sofapaka to Play USM Alger on Wednesday

2009 Kenya Premier League champions Sofapaka will play Algerian side USM Alger in an international friendly at the Camp Toyoyo on Wednesday, kick off 6pm.

The Algerians are in the camping in the country before travelling to Rwanda where they will take on Rayon Sport in a CAF Confederation match next weekend.

Sofapaka coach John Baraza says he will use the friendly to unleash some of his new signings and also gauge the fitness levels of the other players who have not gotten much of playtime this season.

Among those expected to feature are new signing Mico Justin who just completed a move from Rwanda champions Police FC last week.

The attacking midfielder missed Sunday’s league match against Mathare United as he had fitness issues.
