Timbe Sacked by Tusker

Tusker FC have sacked head coach Sam Timbe and his entire technical bench 24 hours after an embarassing 3-1 away loss to Zoo Kericho on Saturday. The Brewers are currently 14th on the log with only two wins this season(Against Nzoia Sugar and AFC Leopards)

Assistant coach Francis Baraza, Team manager George Opondo and goalkeeper trainer Haggai Azande will also follow Timbe out of the Tusker door.

Timbe joined the team in January after his counterpart George Nsimbe was sacked in September last year and was presented with a huge task of building up a new team with almost three quarters of the players leaving at the end of the season.

The building process hasn’t gone down well for Timbe whose side has struggled to play good football and understandably the results have been wanting.

Former  coach Robert Matano has been tipped to take over from the Ugandan.
