Manchester City will face French champions Paris St-Germain in their first Champions League quarter-final.
City, the sole English club remaining in the competition, avoided incoming manager Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich and holders Barcelona, who have knocked them out in the past two seasons.
PSG eliminated City’s Premier League rivals Chelsea in the last 16. The Ligue 1 side and Manchester City drew 0-0 in the 2008/09 UEFA Cup group stage – their only previous meeting.
Holders Barcelona will face Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid. Atlético knocked out the Catalans in the 2013/14 quarter-finals, winning 1-0 at home after a 1-1 away draw.
Bundesliga leaders, Bayern Munich will be favorites to get past Benfica who they have beaten in four of their previous six matches, drawing the other two.
Record champions Real Madrid will take on Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in what will be the first European meeting between the two sides.
The quarter-finals will take place on 5-6 April and 12-13 April.
