Gor Mahia and Harambee Stars right back Philemon Otieno has resumed training four months after going under the knife
Otieno has been out since August last year’s when he suffered a knee injury while in action against Tanzania in a Chan qualifier match
The former Ushuru midfielder’s career was nearly punctured by the injury as both the national team and Gor declined to take responsibility and shoulder the burden of treating him
However, friends and well wishers bailed him through raising money for the surgery. He resumed training on Wednesday at Camp Toyoyo where he clocked more than 50 minutes in a friendly match.
